I guess the name contest wasn’t that well thought out. I mean, what was I supposed to do with the suggestions? Just pick one? Whittle it down to the few that I liked best and then have a vote?

But since there have been no new submissions in the last few days, and I don’t feel like dragging everyone in for another round, I will declare the contest over!

40. The one on the right is named Richard, Dick for short. He has a family and walks the straight and narrow, even though he crashes at Michael's in the Castro when he tells his wife he's too drunk to drive and is staying at a friend's house. The one on the left is Jane, a languorous tramp who thinks she deserved better in life, but finds herself on some sleazy bedspread in West Hollywood waiting for a producer with shady credentials to tell her she's what everyone's been waiting for. Dick and Jane.

What to do, what to do, what to do! All excellent suggestions.

Now before this whole contest started, in going with the whole Clarks theme I had thought of using Clark and Kent. And as you can see from the list above, Clark and Kent was submitted twice. And the other duplicate submission was Lefty and Righty. And for the last few days, I’ve been leaning towards going with naming one Dick Clark, and the other Clark Kent. But as of the moment I’m typing this up, I’ve suddenly changed my mind. So the winner is....

Dick and Jane!

Thank you Johnny Hinderliter for the only submission with a story. And what a story. Next time you are in town the drinks are on me. Either that or you can have a blowjob. Not from me, but we’ll find someone suitable. Unless of course you’ve come around and given up that sick hetero lifestyle.
