Dick and Jane are SO popular!! Everyone is dying to meet them. Last week I ran into my old friend Luis who I hadn’t seen in ages. He was quite bummed that I didn’t have the twins with me. I can’t wear them everyday....or can I?!!
So when I made plans to meet up with Luis and his fabulous partner Kourosh for lunch yesterday, I made sure Dick and Jane were available. As soon as the twins realized that attention would once again be showering down upon them AND with a chance to make new friends, they were ready to go in an instant. And they were not disappointed. As we all know, when it comes to fabulousness, Kourosh and Luis do not disappoint.
After all, look how cute they are:
And look how much fun Dick and Jane are having while getting to know Kourosh and Luis’ shoes under the table:
While checking out the scraps on the floor of the Peruvian restaurant, Jane thought they seemed a bit more Mexican than Peruvian. Luis and Kourosh concurred. Dick was clueless though, as Dick usually is. Though a delightful time was had by all as we were regaled with stories of Peru and noshed on excellent ceviche.
But then it was time to leave as errands needed to be run. And though Jane and Dick were sad to leave Kourosh and Luis, especially since they’re in LA so much, there were more adventures to be had, and we knew we’d see them all again.
Dick and Jane and I had to run home first. But wait! What is that we see on all the stairs and in all the hallways of the apartment building? Is it dried out dead christmas cheer?? Why yes it is.
As predicted in the New Year’s Day post, the joy of the holiday season is now truly spread all over the hallways and stairs of the building.
And speaking of the hallways and stairs of the building, here is the news you’ve all been waiting for: the other contest!
Aside from two votes for the bedspread, it was a landslide of ugliness victory for the carpeting. Let’s hear it for the carpeting!
