Ohmigosh how time flies!! Jane and Dick celebrated their first birthday on the 21st! It is hard to believe it’s been a whole year. Seems like only yesterday that I had to beat them mercilessly to keep them from acting out in public and annoying innocent passersby. And now they are practically as well-behaved as....uh.....as a semi-well-behaved grown-up. It was definitely a good idea to skip that whole adolescent stage (another of the many benefits to shoes over actual children).

The kids decided to keep a low profile on the actual day, but extended the overall celebration to the entire holiday weekend! Party! The highlight so far has been when we all went with the fabulous Lisa up to Pt. 1st Birthday/Holiday Weekend
